Luna Waning: The game’s protagonist. Living in the shadow of her older sister, Luna was often bullied for being weaker and a bit of a tomboy. As a result, she has a fairly short temper and her shadow enjoys attacking her self confidence.
Selena Waning: Luna’s older sister. Born with an exceptionally strong Shadow, she began training to be the next family head from a very young age. Regardless of Selena’s strength, her family refuses to accept her relationship choices.
Clementine: Selena’s girlfriend and classmate, who dreams of being a world-class detective. With no relation to the Shadow clan, it’s tough for her to comprehend the struggles Selena faces, but she does her best to be supportive.
Shadow: Luna’s Shadow. (Default name Clarence; can be renamed). A weak and lowly pest who does everything in his (limited) power to make Luna miserable, in order to feed off her strong negative emotions.
Aster: The main antagonist. With a personal vendetta against the Shadow clan, her goal is to topple the hierarchy of power drafted by them within the city. She has the extraordinary power to control the shadows of regular people.
